Little Miami Food Pantry Canned Food Drive - October 2011
The Oak Class is running a canned food drive throughout the month of October. Please bring any non-perishable items to the church that you'd like to donate. All donations will go to the Little Miami Food Pantry, which is running quite low on food stores right now, with the busy winter months coming up. Thanks for your donations!
Ohio Street Protest for Gay Marriage - November 5th
Please join us in making a Harmony presence at the Ohio Street Protest for Gay Marriage Saturday, November 5th from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Fountain Square. We will meet at Harmony at 10:00 AM and carpool to the square. Feel free to make signs and don't forget to wear your Harmony shirts if you have them! It will be a fun day of supporting our LGBT friends and family in their right to marry whomever they choose. Let's all CHOOSE LOVE and show our support! Please see our Facebook page to let us know if you're coming!
"Empty Plate" Program - November and December 2011
We will be kicking off our annual “Empty Plate” program in November. Through this program, we ask that participants put money aside during each meal to cover an extra plate at their dinner tables. We will collect that money in mid-December and donate it to a local food pantry. This is a relatively quick and easy way for Harmony to support local people in need during the holidays.
